This film reduces glare from the sun by 84% and it reduces solar heat gain by 85%. It also reduces heat loss from the room during the winter. The film has a silver finish and is highly reflective although you can still see through it a bit. Manufactured using an advanced ultra-transparent polyester just a few microns thick, with an anti-abrasive (anti-scratch) coating and resistance to discolouration. 8 year warranty (internal use), 3 year warranty (external use) against peeling, cracking and demetallization of the film. This film is suitable for polycarbonate roofs. It is also suitable for single glazed glass (not double glazed, tinted or Low-E glass - see our Glass Compatibility table).
