Cut glare, UV and heat transmissionFit on internal face of windows in offices, commercial buildings and private residences. This film reduces glare from the sun by 83% and it reduces solar heat gain by 80%. It also reduces heat loss from the room during the winter. In addition since the film has a reflective back (see picture below) it stops people from seeing in during the day time – thus it can also be used as a day time privacy film. You will still need curtains / blinds if you want to achieve night-time privacy. If you don’t want the mirrored back, you need one of our neutral window films (click here). Dark reflective film is our best selling reflective film – most people buy this one. The film only allows 18% of light through and it will make the room darker; if the room is already quite dark, you may prefer our Light reflective film which cuts 47% of glare whilst still allowing 48% of visible light through. Manufactured using an advanced ultra-transparent polyester just a few microns thick, with an anti-abrasive (anti-scratch) coating and resistance to discolouration. 10 year warranty against peeling, cracking and demetallization of the film. Please check the glass compatibility table below before purchasing. If this film is not suitable for your glass, you may find it helpful to check our Glass Compatibility table. There is an external version of this film which probably will be suitable (fits on external face of window). Performance stats - Allows 18% of visible light through
